Activities include, but are not limited to, the following experiences:

~reading books

~isolating, segmenting, and blending sounds in words

~writing stories

~playing math games

~solving math equations with manipulatives

~experimenting through STEM activities (science, technology, engineering, and math)

~playing outdoors

~learning how to handle feelings & develop values

~studying other cultures

~learning place value during math calendar

~singing songs & dancing

~affecting & observing the natural world for scientific purposes (i.e. planting seeds, helping them grow, & keeping a journal to note the changes)

~learning how to take care of oneself

~problem solving

~creating art projects

~working with a partner & in groups to learn how to collaborate & compromise
