Teacher Margi is a mom to her 7-year old daughter, Marley, and two cats, Luna and Sol. She has been working with kids since she was 14 years old. She started off babysitting neighborhood kids and volunteered in after-school programs before eventually caring for families in their homes. During the pandemic, Margi spent time teaching her daughter at home and gained a real sense of the needs children and families have.

Margi's teaching style is rooted in the belief that children are our future leaders and innovators. She believes that having a caring community that helps prepare each individual is vital for our children. She strives to find creative ideas for new learning activities so that every day is a little different. Having grown up in the heart of Seattle, Margi believes in the exploration and freedom of outdoor play and has a deep appreciation for the fresh air: walking, hiking, collecting rocks and exploring life through trees/plants and all other living things.

Margi finds joy being a piece of the fun and hearing all the belly laughs from her kiddos. In her free time you might find Margi spending time with family (especially outdoors), eating good food, and exercising the mind and body!
