Operations & Marketing Manager

We're a team of technologists, parents, and startup veterans on a mission to rethink early childhood education and support working parents. Our technology platform powers neighborhood micro-schools and personalized learning for each child.

Ready to join an early stage startup with a big mission? We are looking for an Operations & Marketing Manager.

This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience in this generalist role. In true start-up fashion, you’ll be pulled in many directions and gain experience in marketing, project management, operations, HR and more. You will be responsible for day to day support of programs (hiring teachers, supporting program directors) as well as larger scope projects like paid campaigns, onboarding, site content and playbooking. This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor and grow with the company.

This is a salaried, full time position

Benefits:

*Stock options (offered at funding round)

*Paid medical, dental and vision

*Paid vacation and holidays

*Work from home (Seattle preferred, but you can live anywhere!)

Must haves:

*Bachelor’s degree

*3+ years experience in marketing, operations, finance, customer service or other applicable role

*A passion for early childhood education/development and experience in educational settings

*Analytical experience (paid, reporting, finance, or HR)

*An ability to track and report on efforts with a love for challenging assumptions with data

*Comfortable creating and editing spreadsheets, documents and presentations

*Can quickly understand and adopt new platforms (Trello, Asana, CRMs, etc)

*Self starter with critical-thinking skills. You have the ability to connect dots and proactively develop proposals and solutions.

*Organized; you keep a todo list for yourself and never start a project without some kind of written plan

*Scrappy; willing to dive in and do what’s needed, regardless of whether it’s in the job description

*You have incredible communication skills, and you are unimaginably persistent, patient, and persuasive

*You aren’t afraid to raise your hand, ask questions or share your opinion

Nice to haves:

*Copywriting experience

*Experience developing curriculum and/or activities for kids

*Recruiting; including experience interviewing candidates and onboarding new hires

*You live in the Seattle area

We recognize the dire lack of diversity in the tech industry, and we're not standing by. We are a female founded company and we address it with our hiring and retention processes, as well as our culture. Why? Well, partly because a diverse team has a better likelihood of success...but mostly, because it's the right thing to do. So to put it more formally, we’re an equal opportunity employer. All applicants for all positions will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. Because that's how everyone should roll.

Parents are celebrated, second careers are too! While this position is full time, you have the flexibility of working from home and from anywhere.
