Preschool / Education Program Manager

We're WEEKDAYS and we're on a mission to help educators run wonderful micro-classes where and children the chance to have a caring, personalized learning experience.

We are looking for a Preschool Program Manager and Backup Educator to support three of our micro-class locations. This role will be an HQ position with the chance to oversee several of our programs including one of our micro-classes in downtown Seattle, act as the backup educator to support our team taking vacation/sick days, help with planning as we launch additional programs and support the overall success of WEEKDAYS.

This position:

  • Approx 50% of this position will be in class supporting our educator team as a backup educator with vacation days, sick days, and planning time.
  • Lead the operations and support of several WEEKDAYS programs, helping with planning, strategy and ensuring our programs are the highest quality.
  • Main contact for parents and staff at several of our micro-class locations in Western WA.
  • Implement best practices and learnings from this program as we plan to expand and support other programs across the Seattle area.
  • Other duties as assigned. We are a growing organization so there will be new opportunities to grow and launch additional programs.

Requirements:

  • You must love working with infants and preschool aged children (0-2, 2.5-5 years old)
  • Have experience teaching your own children or as a teacher/childcare provider.
  • Be able to communicate clearly with parents to build trust.
  • Be innovative, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
  • Be able to lift 30 pounds as the position often helping children
