Education Program Coordinator

We're WEEKDAYS and we're on a mission to help educators run wonderful micro-classes where and children the chance to have a caring, personalized learning experience.

We are looking for an Education Program Coordinator. This role will be an HQ position with the chance to oversee several of our programs including one of our micro-classes in downtown Seattle, help with planning as we launch additional programs and support the overall success of WEEKDAYS.

This position:

  • Lead the coordination and operations of several WEEKDAYS programs, helping with planning, strategy and ensuring our programs are the highest quality.
  • Main contact for parents and staff at one micro-class in downtown Seattle.
  • Educator support on-site for the end of the class day each day - act as lead educator for 15 hours per week (3 hours each day).
  • Implement best practices and learnings from this program as we plan to expand and support other programs across the Seattle area.
  • Other duties as assigned. We are a growing organization so there will be new opportunities to grow and launch additional programs.

Requirements:

  • You must love working with infants and preschool aged children (0-2, 2.5-5 years old)
  • Have experience teaching your own children or as a teacher/childcare provider.
  • Be able to communicate clearly with parents to build trust.
  • Be innovative, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
  • Be able to lift 30 pounds as the position often helping children
