Online

Nunu's Virtual sessions provide children a platform to meet and engage with other children their age as they create, explore, and share learning adventures together. My curriculum is designed through a series of hands-on activities, shared experimentation and observation using STREAMM: Science, Technology, Reading, Art, Math, and Music. Extra resources may be provided for families who want to extend their child's curricula into specific subjects!

Program Description

COMING UP IN THE FALL

Nunu’s Virtual Micro-school!

Tuesdays & Thursdays

10am-10:50am PST on Zoom

We'll do everything from creating our own sensory bins, exploring sound, and color, making our own toys with recyclables, put on puppet shows and show-and-tell, have picnics together, and share our favorite books on Friday Book-club days!

The goal is to provide kids and their caregivers a platform to meet other kids online, learn something new, and empower them to spend the rest of the day away from the screen and learning through play.

In the process of creating our own fun, we will introduce literacy, math, music, science, engineering, biology, chemistry, and art. Applies to individual families, daycares, micro-schools, and homeschooling families. Classes range from children 4 to 6 years old and last for about 1 hour.

My curriculum is designed through a series of hands-on activities, shared experimentation and observation using STREAMM: Science, Technology, Reading, Art, Math, and Music.

Extra resources will be provided for families who want to extend their child's curricula into specific subjects.

Interested? Please send us a text at 1(425) 200-5127 so we can answer your questions and help you with enrollment.

I look forward to meeting you this fall!

Background Check Confirmed

I am a writer, graphic designer, and illustrator, as well as a wife, and mother of two girls and a fantastic Goldendoodle named Copper. I have a BA in English Language and Literature, and Linguistics and Language Acquisition. After working at a book publisher and as a graphic designer decided to stay at home to raise my daughters. During that time I have intensely educated myself in early-childhood learning and psychology, as well as spending innumerable hours volunteering at our local elementary school, either in class, at the library, or as a substitute Spanish teacher in the mornings.

I believe that nothing you do for children is ever wasted, and when the children in my community do well the entire community thrives. I also believe that the learning and social interactions that take place in the early years are fundamental in building a solid base for a child's development later in life.

Teacher Nunu is awesome, and the small class size is perfect to ensure that our son is engaged, heard and seen! Highly recommended.
