MADISON’S MUSIC SCHOOL!
We will explore the connection between music, our environment and friends! We will learn new rhythms and instruments, practice our active listening skills, and move our bodies and dance, all while sprinkling in an early music education. Perfect for parents who want their kids to have early music exposure.
PHILOSOPHY AND PROGRAM DESIGN
Music is vital to learning and growth, and is linked with increased developments in children. I will use my psychology and music backgrounds, with research in music and cognition, to foster a positive environment that allows kids to explore the connection between music and themselves. By getting hands on instruments, listening and responding to music from around the world, and learning to feel music within their bodies, we will explore being confident and creative!

ABOUT ME:
Some of my fondest memories are from when I was younger in a “mommy and me” music class. It brought me and my mom closer together and truly sparked my love of music. I have had dreams of starting a similar program, only geared more towards children exploring music with peers. Now I’m getting my Masters in Voice Performance at UW and am inspired to put my psychology and music degrees to work. I also have extensive training and experience working with children of varying abilities.
My favorite kid’s song is 6 little ducks!
