Program Description

Fridays from 3-4pm PST

October 2nd through December 11th

CREATIVE SAFE SPACE:

We are all responsible for keeping our sessions a creative safe-space. Please be respectful of the ideas of other players. The golden rule: treat others how you want to be treated.

Everyone should feel invited and welcome to participate in our group, and that means making room for everyone to try out different ideas. Let’s make the most out of the time we have together!

MATERIALS:

Notebook/Paper Pencil/Pen One set of 6 dice: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, and D20 D&D Character Sheet Handout Coloring/Drawing Supplies (optional)

10/2 Introduction, How To Play & Character Creation We’ll start with the very basics of how to play. More experienced players will be encouraged to share what they know.

10/9 Character Introductions & Group Meeting We meet up on the edge of a forest. We’ve either been hired, commanded, or invited to be here. How will does your character show up, and where are you coming from?

10/16 Day 1 The journey begins! Our characters are off in pursuit of their quarry, and we have our first round of combat.

10/23 Day 2 Our party stumbles across a marketplace with varying merchants. We’ll be able to buy weapons, armor, magical objects, supplies, and oddities.

10/30 Halloween Event Our story will most certainly take a spooky turn in this session. Why are those skeletons dancing and how can we make them stop?!

11/6 Day 3 We are back on the road and are growing closer to our goal. Not even a group of swooping bats and a swamp will stop us.

11/13 Day 4 We’ve gone through a portal. Where are we now? Closer to our goal or further away?

11/20 Day 5 Our group gets involved in our biggest battle yet to achieve our goal.

12/4 Day 6 We go to a nearby safe village where we can heal and recover from the battle.

12/11 Holiday Event We’ll have a festive marketplace just for fun!

Background Check Confirmed

Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m 29 years old, and have worked in direct childcare for five years with two years experience nannying. I graduated from Washington State University in 2013 with a B.A. in English and a Global Leadership Certificate.

Most recently, I was a Co-Lead teacher of an After School Program that went virtual when our school district closed down. For the rest of the school year, I led meeting games, Dungeons & Dragons, and other meet-ups and activities over Zoom. This led to the development of the role-play adventures that I am offering here!

It is important to me that each child feels valued, listened to and encouraged to be their best selves. I seek to create age-appropriate safe spaces for children to use their imaginations, and expand on their unique interests.
