Hello, my name is Cynthia Alvear and I am a Mexican American who loves her culture and to teach young minds some Spanish and about diversity and all cultures. I love teaching children because they are learning so much and it is time to teach them the most important things about life! I love singing and art and so that is easily applied when working with kids since most children are fans of both. It is a big deal to me when you are a huge part of a child's life that you bond and love them and have a connection with not only them but their parents as well so we can all work together to set that child up for success!

DAILY SCHEDULE

9 - A mini welcome circle to start the day off right (discuss the day of the week, weather, etc.)

9:30 - Usually a small snack

9:45-10:30 - Planned learning activities (weather its a science project or a craft or classroom activity)

10:40- 11:15- Fresh air if possible; some sort of outside time so they can burn energy

11:30 - Get ready for lunch!

11:45 - Lunch

12:30- if children are taking naps then it's nap time. If not, then quieter activities. (Reading, blocks, drawing, independent work)

2 - Wake up/ clean up

2:30 - Small snack

2:45 - Small circle (story time or group movement time)

3:15 - If possible, more outside time but with a group activity!

4:15 - If parents have not picked up, then it's free time in or outside.
